Smoketember Fest BBQ Cookoff/ KCBS Sanctioned Event

The Appling County Festival is excited to announce Smoketember Fest 2023 to be held on September 16th, 2023. The event will be free and open to the public. More details regarding vendors, entertainment, etc. are forthcoming.

KCBS Smoketember Fest BBQ Cookoff in Baxley, Georgia on September 16, 2023.
This event is also part of the Georgia BBQ Championships Points Race. Barbecue enthusiasts are invited to register to compete in this sanctioned competition. Pitmasters will compete in the categories of Chicken, Pork, Ribs, and Brisket on Saturday, September 16, 2023. All competitions will follow KCBS guidelines.
